Dear resident or business,

You may well be aware by now of the community engagement and design workshops that are already underway with the purpose of involving people in designing improvements to Rosendale Road as part of the proposed cycle Quietway.

We feel that at this stage it is important for us to make clear that Lambeth is no longer proposing any road closures as part of the project.
Your input is valuable and we want as my people as possible to be involved in helping to design alternative improvements.

We hope to see you at the next co-design workshop to be held this  Saturday 24th October 10:30 to 14:30pm.

Both events will be held at All Saints Church, Lovelace Road, SE21 8JY.

Park Plaza staff volunteering at Archbishop’s Park

Park Plaza County Hall, a major Lambeth employer approached Engage Lambeth to help them find a practical community project for a team of motivated volunteers to get involved with. Engage Lambeth run Team Challenge events that can lead to more sustainable, on-going partnerships between businesses and community organisations.

Friends of Archbishop’s Park look after a small open space that is right on the doorstep of Park Plaza County Hall. This park is an incredibly valuable resource for the local community and is one of Lambeth’s 11 Green Flag Award-winning parks. The Friends of Group were incredibly keen to develop a partnership with Park Plaza, and to get some extra support with key tasks in preparation for the summer.

The volunteer team worked hard all day gardening and planting to improve the environment of Archbishop’s Park. It was a great opportunity for them to give back their local park and to work together as a team to make a difference.

As a local business we fully appreciate all our green spaces and were delighted to give something back to the wonderful community of Lambeth. Engage Lambeth were a fantastic support in finding us a suitable volunteer opportunity. Thanks for your help and hard work!
